Volunteer

We need people like YOU!

Our work at the FRC depends on people like you who willingly share their time and talents with us because they care about their community. When you volunteer with us, your impact is felt throughout our community. Your knowledge and skills positively shape the services we offer.

How do I help?

We welcome people regardless of age or occupation who want to help us create a healthy and positive community.

Our Process:

Crossing our t’s and dotting our i’s

If you’re interested in volunteering, here are your next steps.

Step 1:
Email us for current volunteer opportunities

Step 2:
When you find an opportunity that you’re interested in, drop by the FRC to pick up an application form at 1200 LaSalle Avenue Monday-Friday 9-4pm

Step 3:
We’ll review your application, check references and contact you by phone to arrange an in-person meeting and interview.

Step 4:
You’ll come into the office, meet with us, sign a confidentiality agreement and pick up your two criminal records check forms.

Step 5:
Complete your criminal record check forms and bring them to the RCMP. They will let you know when your reports are ready so you can pick them up.

Step 6:
Return your completed criminal record check forms to the office.

Step 7:
Complete the official FRC program orientation.

Step 8:

Make a difference!
